On July 11, 2023, we announced an expanded partnership with Sterlite Technologies Ltd., STL, supporting our high-bandwidth optical long-haul fiber routes under construction. This collaboration will continue to enable the best reach and connectivity experience for our customers while maintaining our Fast & Flexible mantra.

With nearly 30 years of optical expertise, STL reaches the high standards bar we’ve set for our multiple fiber construction projects underway, including:

  • An extension of the T-Rock Express, from Tulsa-to-Little Rock, Arkansas, and now on to Memphis;
  • The Beach Route, from Raleigh, North Carolina, to the new Myrtle Beach CLS, and on to the Jacksonville, Florida CLS, and
  • CanAm2, running from New York City to Montreal.

STLs products are designed to ensure faster rollout and high scalability, aligning with Windstream Wholesale’s requirements for metro, and long-haul optical networks that currently provide up to 400G wave services and will support 800G transmission in the future.
